How to do it
- One sentence, in the present tense, as if it were already true: “I have the flat with the morning light.”
- Write it three times on waking, six times in the afternoon, nine times before sleep.
- The same sentence, to the letter. Repetition is the exercise, not variety.
Why it works
Eighteen times a day, a sentence stops being an idea and becomes scenery. What you write by hand every day ends up looking like a fact — and you act accordingly.
In Manifesti
In Manifesti the 369 is done in sessions: you set your sentence, the app keeps count of the three moments, and every session is kept, can be reopened and deleted. No streak to break.
Frequently asked questions
Why 3, 6 and 9?
They are the numbers attributed to Tesla. It hardly matters: what counts is three appointments a day with the same sentence.
What if I miss the morning?
You write your three lines at noon. The app lets you catch up on a moment; it never counts it as missed.
